A little bit about Tea Box

Started in 2010 by tea lover Kirsty Munro, Tea Box is a loose leaf tea business based in Sheffield. The aim is to constantly evolve their tea offering, embracing traditional tea tasting values as well as innovative ‘outside the box’ flavours and combinations. Quality is of the utmost importance to them and to ensure the highest standards, all of the tea is packed and blended by hand.

So why tea? That question gets asked a lot. Having worked as a graphic designer, Kirsty wanted a change of direction. Having always been a fan of tea, she went along to a tea master class by tea goddess Jane Pettigrew. After that, her choice was made – the flavours, colours and smells you get in a single cup of tea is one of the most exquisite pieces of art you can get on a daily or even hourly basis. Kirsty found a way to keep her creative juices flowing, as well as taking an exciting change of career.

Having enlisted the help of her Mum, Dad, friends and family, Kirsty was able to take the Tea Box idea and develop a brand which is now becoming more popular by the day.
